Leopold Traunfellner

Leopold Traunfellner (born February 27, 1866 in Scheibbs ; † March 3, 1949 there ) was an Austrian master baker and politician ( CSP ). Traunfellner was a member of the Lower Austrian state parliament from 1920 to 1932 .

Traunfellner attended elementary school and completed an apprenticeship as a baker. He then took over his father's business in 1894. Traunfellner was active as a local councilor in Scheibbs between 1900 and 1912 and was vice mayor between 1919 and 1938. He was also chairman of the district farmers' council and a functionary of various agricultural cooperatives and organizations. He was also active as a district councilor and chairman of the district road committee. Traunfellner was sworn in as a member of the state parliament on November 30th, and in the course of the separation of Vienna from Lower Austria he belonged to the Lower Austria Curia until May 11, 1921. After that he was a member of the state parliament until May 21, 1932.
