Leopoldina Bălănuță
Leopoldina Bălănuță (born December 10, 1934 in Păuleşti , Vrancea , Romania ; † October 14, 1998 in Bucharest ) was a Romanian actress .
Life
Leopoldina Bălănuță graduated from the National University of Theater and Film Art "Ion Luca Caragiale" in 1957 . She then worked at the theater for several years before she occasionally appeared in Romanian films. She was mainly known as a performer of dramatic characters and only played a few comedic roles.
From 1977 until her death she was married to the actor Mitică Popescu .
