Career
society
Leozinho started his professional career at CR Vasco da Gama and moved to Sport Club do Recife in January 2006 . After playing for FC Treze in the second half of the 2006 season , he moved in January 2007 for an unknown transfer fee to the Greek champions Olympiacos Piraeus (contract until 2012), where he was immediately loaned to the relegation-threatened German second division club Eintracht Braunschweig , where he with the campaign "Eleven victories for the second division" was supposed to prevent the threatened relegation from the second division. The then sports director of Eintracht, Manfred Aschenbrenner, hoped to have signed a "top-class" with him.
For the 2006/07 season he played twelve games in the second half of the second half of the Bundesliga in Braunschweig and then left the club again. He then went through the clubs OFI Crete , Apollon Kalamarias , Panserraikos and AEL Kalloni . In the latter he played for four years and scored 32 goals in 130 championship games.
For the 2014/15 season Leozinho moved to the second Turkish league to Denizlispor and signed there for two years. Since the promised wage payments did not materialize, he terminated the contract in January 2016 and moved back to Greece to Iraklis Thessaloniki .
National team
During his time in Brazil, Leozinho played for the Brazilian national U-20 soccer team .
