The Lepidoziales are an order of leafy liverworts .
features
The moss plants are quite variable, one to multiple pinnate or seemingly forked. Often there are flagellar branches. The leaves are usually lobed two to four times; in some genera they are stunted and have few cells. There are sub-leaves, but they can vary in size. The species are diocesan or autocratic . The slender perianth is egg-shaped to spindle-shaped, triangular and contracted at the mouth. The ovoid-cylindrical spore capsule opens with 4 flaps.

- Family Lepidoziaceae , 29 genera in 7 subfamilies, about 440 species
- Family Phycolepidoziaceae , 1 genus with 1 species
- Family Neogrolleaceae , 1 genus with 1 species
