Lake Leqinat ( Albanian Liqen i Leqinatit or Liqenatit , Leqinat , Liqenat or Liqen i Kuqishtës , Serbian Језеро Лићенат Jezero Lićenat ) is a mountain lake on the Leqinat Mountain ( 2275 m. I. J. ) in the west of Kosovo . The border between Kosovo and Montenegro runs along the western shore of the lake .
It is the most famous lake in Kosovo and is often visited by tourists and hikers visiting the Rugova Gorge . It lies at 1867 m. i. J. and is located south of Kuqishta village.
