Learning island
The learning island denotes a focus in the curriculum and is an expression of work-related forms of learning. It is part of the vocational education and training of young adults that is oriented towards the process of employment . The learning material and learning infrastructure are linked to a workplace .
Learning islands are used in the production area, in the commercial area and as part of further training measures in companies.
