Leslie Lelete Smith (born September 16, 1958 in Rutland , Vermont ) is a former American alpine ski racer .
Smith was active in the 1974/75 Alpine Ski World Cup. She won the Can-Am Trophy in 1975 and was national junior champion in giant slalom. In 1976 she started for the B team of the US national team. Nevertheless, she qualified for the 1976 Winter Olympics in Innsbruck . She finished 26th in downhill skiing and 28th in giant slalom.
Smith went to Middlebury College .
