The Lestijärvi is a lake in the Finnish countryside Central Ostrobothnia .
The lake is located in the municipality of the same name . The Lestijärvi is roughly oval in shape and measures about 13 by 8 kilometers. Two peninsulas protruding into the lake separate the north-eastern part of the lake from the main lake. The lake is relatively poor in islands. There is a cluster of smaller islands along the southwestern shore. The main islands in the lake are Nevansaari (31 ha) and Vasikkasaari (18 ha). The center of the municipality of Lestijärvi is located on the south-west bank. The Lestijärvi has a water surface of 64.74 km² and is at an altitude of 140.7 m. With a maximum water depth of 6.9 m, the lake is relatively shallow.
On the northeast bank, the Lestijoki drains the lake to the Gulf of Bothnia .
