The logo of the Latvian Presidency of the Council is a stylized millstone. It symbolizes prosperity and success and stands for a creative and productive work ethic.

The rotational dynamics symbolizes the development of energy and initiative in overcoming challenges. The circle shape symbol also stands for circle dancing and games - a youthful appeal for collaboration, the center of focus - for the ability to concentrate and the pursuit of shared values. After all, its rays mark the symbolism of the sun - thus the link to eternal movement, as well as the belief in positive ideals and vitality. The color scheme of the logo is based on the national colors of Latvia. The logo was designed by the Latvian graphic designer Gunārs Lūsis .

The logo is displayed in Latvian , English , German and French .
