Shining Armenia ( Armenian Լուսավոր Հայաստան Lusawor Hajastan , LH, often translated as Light Armenia or less often as Enlightened Armenia ) is a liberal party in Armenia , founded on December 12, 2015. Its chairman is the lawyer and politician Edmon Marukjan .

Election results

The party participated in the Armenian parliamentary elections in 2017 and the municipal elections in 2017 capital Yerevan within the political party Alliance of the way Alliance ( "Ելք" դաշինք shortly Jelk ) part and thus received some seats.

In the renewed city council elections of Yerevan in 2018, the party was part of the Alliance Light ( Լույս Դաշինք ), which received three seats, including two for Shining Armenia .

In the parliamentary elections in Armenia in 2018 , the party received 6.37% of the vote and 18 seats in the Armenian parliament . It thus became the third party represented in parliament, alongside the My Step Alliance and the Blooming Armenia party, and constitutes the smallest parliamentary group.
