Levent Erköse (born September 4, 1959 in Trabzon ) is a former Turkish football player .

Career

Erköse began his career in the 1978/79 season at Trabzonspor . In his first season he came to two games in the league and was Turkish champions at the end of the season. The striker was a supplementary player until the 1982/83 season. This season, Erköse played 29 league games and scored 12 goals. In the following season he won his fourth and final championship with Trabzonspor.

In the cup final of the 1983/84 season, Erköse was the match winner . His head coach Ahmet Suat Özyazıcı changed him in the 72nd minute for Bahaddin Güneş and Erköse scored twice in extra time. As a result, Trabzonspor won 2-0 against Beşiktaş Istanbul .

For the 1984/85 season Levent Erköse moved to Galatasaray Istanbul . For the yellow-reds he played 16 league games and scored three goals. Here he won the Turkish Cup again. After just one season, the striker left Galatasaray and became a player for Diyarbakırspor . With Diyarbakırspor he was second division champion and rose to the first division. The climber stayed only one season in the first division and was relegated from bottom of the table.

Erköse played for İskenderunspor from 1988 until the end of his career in 1993 .
