Levente Bartha

Levente Bartha (born March 8, 1977 in Ploieşti ) is a Romanian bobsledder and javelin thrower .

Bartha is a multiple Romanian javelin master: 2000, 2002-2010, 2012 and 2015. He won the gold medal at the 2007 military world championships in Hyderabad. He set his personal best in 2008 with 78.90 m in Istanbul. With this litter he managed the B-Norm, which was not enough for a nomination for the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing.

Bartha also ran bobsleigh. He started in 2002 and was inducted into the national squad in 2004. In 2006 he took part in the Winter Olympics in Turin . As a pusher for Mihai Iliescu , he finished 26th with the two-man bobsleigh. After a long break, Bartha was approached again by the Romanian Association and thus came back to make a comeback in winter 2017/18. In Pyeongchang he took part in his second Olympic Games and finished 29th with the Romanian four-man bobsleigh.
