Mihai Iliescu
Aurel Mihai Iliescu (born July 25, 1978 in Slănic ) is a former Romanian bobsledder .
Iliescu started bobsleigh in 1998 and was included in the national team that same year. In the 2004/05 World Cup season he was a pilot in the two-man and four-man bobsleigh. At the 2005 Bobsleigh World Championships in Calgary he reached 29th place with the pusher Adrian Duminicel and 21st place with the four-man.
In 2005/06 Iliescu only started in the two-man bobsleigh in the World Cup. At the end of the season he took part in the 2006 Winter Olympics in Turin . With the pusher Levente Bartha he landed in 26th place with the two-man bobsleigh.
