Levin Johann Wilhelm Franz von Wenge zu Beck (born October 5, 1772 ; † 1822 ) was canon in Münster and Halberstadt .

Life

Levin Johann Wilhelm Franz von Wenge zu Beck came from the Westphalian line of the von der Wenge family and was the son of Major General Clemens August von Wenge zu Beck and his wife Maria Ludovica von Eynatten zu Neuenburg and Lindenberg. He was the great-nephew of the cathedral capitular Franz Ferdinand von der Wenge . In 1788 he received from the Elector Maximilian Franz , a Dompräbende in Munster . In 1800 he was ordained a subdeacon and received the archdeaconate Stadtlohn and Südlohn. He was also canon in Halberstadt and was one of the Münster canons who were accepted into the restored cathedral chapter in 1812.
