Clemens August von der Wenge
Clemens August Freiherr von der Wenge (born September 22, 1740 in Dreiborn , † May 9, 1818 in Münster ) was, among other things, hereditary bailiff and court lord of the city of Ahrweiler , electoral Cologne secret council and chief hunter , lieutenant general and commanding general of the Münster troops, governor of the city Munster, Privy Council of War.
Life
He was the son of Friedrich Florenz Johann Theodor R (h) aban Freiherr von der Wenge . His father was a high-ranking officer from the Westphalian noble family von der Wenge , whose name is derived from the Wenge house in Dortmund-Lanstrop. In addition to the Wenge House, he also inherited Beck Castle from his father, which he built around 1770 .

In 1767 he married Maria Ludovica Freiin von Eynatten (born September 6, 1748 in Eller , † March 5, 1803 in Münster), heiress of Johann Friedrich von Eynaten. The couple had several children including:
