The Lewis Snowfield is a low and undulating snowfield in the south of the West Antarctic Alexander I Island . It extends from the Walton Mountains westward to the Beethoven Peninsula and from the Bach Ice Shelf north to the Wilkins Ice Shelf .

The UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee named it in 1975 after Ernest Gordon Lewis (1918-2006), Governor of the Falkland Islands from 1971 to 1975.
