The Lewisohn nunatak is an isolated nunatak in Marie Byrd Land, West Antarctica . In the Ford Ranges , it looms 16 km southeast of the Mackay Mountains .
Scientists from the United States Antarctic Service Expedition (1939–1941) discovered and mapped it. The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named the Nunatak in 1966 after Walter Pickett Lewisohn (1910-1992), radio operator on the second Antarctic expedition (1933-1935) of the US polar explorer Richard Evelyn Byrd .
