Léa Cristina Araújo da Fonseca , known as Lexa , (born February 22, 1995 in Rio de Janeiro ) is a Brazilian singer , songwriter , actress and dancer .

Léa Cristina Araujo da Fonseca, mainly known as Lexa, was born in the Brazilian city of Rio de Janeiro on February 22nd, 1995 as the daughter of musical producer Darlin Ferrattry. The mother, a fan of the presenter Xuxa, gave her the nickname Lexa with an additional X in her first name when she was three years old. Lexa received early encouragement and support from family members working in the music business. She is said to have composed her first songs at the age of nine.

Her first release, Mc Lexa , came out in 2013, and in 2014, at the age of 19, she had her breakthrough with Posso Ser , which landed in the top 20 on Billboard Brazil and was released as an album of the same title in 2015. The first studio album Disponível followed in 2015 . Lexa also appeared in some Brazilian series and television productions in 2015.

Their music style can be assigned to pop music , electronic dance and pop music as well as the funk melody of the Rio radio .
