Li (Changde)

Li ( Chinese  澧县 , Pinyin Lǐ Xiàn ) is a district in the prefecture-level city of Changde in the Chinese province of Hunan . It has an area of ​​2,074.8 square kilometers and has a population of 880,002 (2004).

The Neolithic Chengtoushan site ( Chengtoushan yizhi城 头 山 遗址), the Pengtoushan site ( Pengtoushan yizhi彭 头 山 遗址), the eponymous site of the Neolithic Pengtoushan culture , the Bashidang site ( Bashidang yizhi八十 垱 遗址), too a Neolithic site of the Pengtoushan culture, as well as the memorial arch of the Yu family ( Yujia beifang余家 碑 坊) are on the list of monuments of the People's Republic of China .
