Li Qing

Li Qing ( Chinese  李青 , Pinyin Lǐ Qīng ; born December 1, 1972 ) is a former Chinese diver . She took part in the Olympic Games and won a medal.

Career

Li Qing took at the age of 15 years at the 1988 Summer Olympics in Seoul in part. She started the competition from the three-meter board . In the preliminary fight Li qualified with 501.39 points in second place behind Gao Min for the final. There she was able to claim second place 45.9 points behind the Olympic champion Gao, who was superior with 580.23 points. Li Qing won silver in front of American Kelly McCormick , who was 1.14 points behind her.

Li married Tan Liangde , who was also a successful water diver . Li Qing works as a trainer with him.
