Kelly McCormick
Kelly Anne McCormick (born February 13, 1960 in Anaheim ) is a former American water diver . She took part in the Olympic Games twice, winning two medals.
Career
Kelly McCormick is the daughter of Pat McCormick , who won four gold medals in diving. She graduated from Ohio State University . From 1977 she was a member of the American national team. She won her first national championship from the three-meter board in 1982. At the Pan American Games of 1983 in Caracas , she won gold from the three-meter board. A year later, McCormick was able to win silver from the three-meter board at the 1984 Summer Olympics in Los Angeles, placing himself behind the Canadian Sylvie Bernier . Kelly McCormick took part in the 1986 World Swimming Championships in Madrid and finished eighth. In 1987 Kelly McCormick took part in the Pan American Games in Indianapolis . There she was able to defend her title from four years ago. At the 1988 Summer Olympics in Seoul , she also started from the three-meter board. Behind the Chinese Gao Min and Li Qing , she won the bronze medal.
