Liane Carroll (* 1964 in London ) is a British jazz singer and pianist.

Liane Carroll has worked with Paul McCartney , Gerry Rafferty , Jacqui Dankworth and Ladysmith Black Mambazo , among others . She also played as a singer and keyboard player in the drum and bass band London Elektricity . She performs regularly at Ronnie Scott's Jazz Club in London and has released a number of solo albums including Standard Issue (Splash Point, 2005) with Bobby Wellins , John Parricelli and Ian Shaw . In 2005 she won the BBC Jazz Award for best vocalist.
