Liber
Liber (often also Liber pater ) is the Roman god of vegetative and animal fertilization, he was also worshiped as the god of wine that frees worries and toil. Bacchus , known today as the Roman god of wine, was originally just a nickname for Liber pater . In ancient times he was equated with the Greek Dionysus .
Liber is the son of Ceres and brother of Libera , together with them he forms a trinity of gods ( Aventine Triassic ). In honor of Libers, the Romans celebrated the Liberalia on March 17th , on this occasion the toga virilis (men's toga ) was put on the young people for the first time as a sign of coming of age.
