The party program is based on the principles of the social philosophy of libertarianism . The exercise or threat of violence for the implementation of political, social or other purposes - and thus most of the state's activity - is fundamentally rejected.
The party strives for a free market (abolition of taxes and state regulation), complete personal freedom (abolition of compulsory military service , legalization of drugs , freedom of expression, etc.) as well as a non-interventionist, anti-imperialist and anti-colonialist foreign policy.
