The Lichen Peak is a mountain in Marie Byrd Land in West Antarctica . In the Ford Ranges, it looms between Saunders Mountain and the Swanson Mountains .
One of Paul Siple mentioned sled team in the second Antarctic Expedition (1933-1935) of the American polar explorer Richard Evelyn Byrd discovered him in December 1934. name derives are found here lichens ( english union ).
