The light and sound festival transNATURALE is a year in the years 2005 to 2015 in late August / early September in the municipality Boxberg / OL in the district of Görlitz directional light-sound festival .

It took place between the industrial backdrop of the Boxberg power plant and around the Bärwalder See with the focus on the Boxberg / OL shore area.

As the name suggests, light and sound are the defining elements and special characteristics of the artistic concept. Artists created light designs (e.g. as a laser show, music-controlled fireworks display), sound installations and events for selected locations around Lake Bärwalder. However, elements of visual and landscape art were also included, in particular the “ear”, an ear-shaped, 350-meter-long, 250-meter-wide and up to 18-meter-high amphitheater with around 300 seats. There were also concerts with small contemporary ensembles and bands.

In August 2009, transNATURALE reported 15,000 visitors.

After eleven years, the transNATURALE 2016 was to take place privately with the Cherry Beach Festival, which the organizer refrained from. Attempts to continue the festival were unsuccessful.
