Lidia Staroń (2015)

Lidia Ewa Staroń (born June 7, 1960 in Morąg ) is a Polish politician and independent senator . From 2005 to 2015 she was a member of parliament for the Civic Platform (PO) .

She studied at the Olsztyn Agricultural Technical University ( Akademia Rolniczo-Techniczna w Olsztynie ) and graduated as a civil engineer .

2005 took part in the parliamentary elections and won a seat for the Sejm with 12,188 votes in constituency No. 35  Olsztyn .

In the early parliamentary elections in 2007 , she received 15,514 votes and moved back into parliament.

In the summer of 2015, she resigned from the PO and successfully ran as an individual for the Senate in the 2015 parliamentary elections (63,870 votes in constituency No. 86, Olsztyn). There it forms its own parliamentary group with two other independent senators .

Lidia Staroń is married.
