Liebigstrasse 22 and 24 (Heilbronn)
The semi-detached house Liebigstrasse 22 and 24 is a listed building in Heilbronn , which was built in the style of heritage protection architecture in the years 1911 to 1916 , along with other buildings in Liebigstrasse for employees of Knorr AG according to plans by the architect Theodor Moosbrugger .
description
The semi-detached house has steep gables that are clad with clapboards. House 22 was recently restored. Carved white beam heads can be seen on the side. The facades are structured with shutters and integral bay windows. The buildings in Liebigstrasse, in addition to house no. 22/24 also houses 8 , 10 , 12/14 , 16/18 and 26 , have largely been preserved and are considered examples of settlement construction in Heilbronn in the early 20th century, which is why they were placed under monument protection.
history
In 1950 the miller Wilhelm Reimers and his widow Anna Baake lived in No. 22, and laboratory assistant Karl Burkhardt in No. 24. In 1961, the commercial clerk Heinrich Bauer lived in No. 22, and only Burkhardt, who had meanwhile risen to head of department, lived in No. 24.
