Liedon Parma

Liedon Parma ry is a sports club founded in 1907 in the southwestern Finnish municipality of Lieto near Turku . There are departments for athletics , orienteering , cross-country skiing , ski jumping and volleyball .

The club operates the Parma ski jump in Lieto.

Orienteering

So far, the club has won three times at the Jukola and the Venlastaffel. In 1982 the men's relay also won the Tiomila in Sweden. So far, the men have been successful five times and the women eleven times at the Finnish relay championships.

Since 2003, under the name MS Parma, there has been a starting community with the orienteering club Mynämäen Suunnistajat -52 from Mynämäki .

Well-known runners of the club were Liisa Veijalainen and Reeta-Mari Kolkkala .

In 2010, the club's men's team won the Suomen Cup against Haukivuoren Kisailijat . The team plays in the second-rate 1-sarja in the 2013/14 season .
