Vladimir Temelkov ( Macedonian : Владимир Темелков; born March 26, 1980 in Veles , SFR Yugoslavia ) is a Macedonian handball player .

The 1.90 m tall and 90 kg heavy left-hander is mostly used on the right wing .

Vladimir Temelkov began his professional career in 1998 with the Macedonian club RK Pelister Bitola , with whom he was cup winner in 1999 and champion in 2000. With Bitola he reached the sixteenth finals in the EHF Champions League 1998/99, the last sixteen in the European Cup Winners' Cup 1999/2000 and the second round in the EHF Cup 2002/03. In the EHF Challenge Cup 2001/02 he was defeated by the Danish Skjern handball despite a 27:20 home win .

In 2003 the winger moved to the German handball league for VfL Pfullingen . After two years he joined the second division TV 08 Willstätt-Ortenau . After the insolvency of HR Ortenau , in which Willstätt had been absorbed since 2008, the Bundesliga club HBW Balingen-Weilstetten signed him for the 2009/10 season. After two seasons he moved to the Luxembourg league for HBC Bascharage, which also operates under the name Handball Käerjeng. With the HBC he reached the final of the Luxembourg National Cup in 2012 and was runner-up in 2013. In 2014 he won the Luxembourg championship.

With the Macedonian national team Temelkov took part in the 2009 World Cup (11th place), the 2012 European Championship (5th place) and the 2013 World Cup (14th place). At the 2014 European Championship he was in the extended squad, but was not called into the final squad. So far, he has played 65 international matches in which he scored 215 goals.
