Liesel Willems

Liesel Willems (born October 6, 1950 in Krefeld ) is a German poet and children's book author who has received several awards.

life and work

After training as an educator in Cologne and Aachen, Willems studied social pedagogy . The mother of four lives in Krefeld. In her work she circles around everyday and crisis situations with her mostly rhyming, more open than hermetic poems in a free rhythm. In 2018 her volume of poetry “Endlich” was published.
