West Indies cricket team against Afghanistan in the 2019/20 season
The West Indies cricket team's tour against Afghanistan in the 2019/20 season took place in India from November 5th to 29th, 2019 . The international cricket tour was part of the 2019/20 international cricket season and included a test , three One-Day Internationals and three Twenty20s . West Indies won the Test series 1-0 and the ODI series 3-0, while Afghanistan won the Twenty20 series 2-1.
prehistory
Afghanistan previously played a three-nation tournament in Bangladesh , for the West Indies it was the first tour of the season. The last meeting of the two teams on a tour took place in the 2017 season in the West Indies . Due to a lack of hotel capacity, the decision was made not to hold the tour in Dehradun , where Afghanistan had previously played its home games, but to move to Lucknow .
