The stadium has a capacity of 50,000 and is equipped with floodlights.
International cricket
The first international game was played as Twenty20 during the tour of the West Indies against India in the 2018/19 season. In October 2019 it was announced that Afghanistan will use the stadium as its new home stadium. On the following tour against the West Indies , the first One-Day International and the first test match were held here.
National cricket
The stadium is one of Uttar Pradesh's home grounds in Indian national cricket.
