Hepatoduodenal ligament
The hepatoduodenal ligament is a ligament that connects the liver with the duodenum and is part of the small network ( omentum minus ). In it lost anatomical structures in the liver parenchyma Glisson's triad identified:
- Hepatic artery propria
- Porta vein
- Common bile duct and, in the direction of the liver, parts of the cystic duct
Surgical clamping of the hepatoduodenal ligament to stop bleeding or for interventions on the liver is called the Pringle maneuver .
