The Lighthouse Bay is a small addition to Bay in the northern part of the Cook Bay between Cape Crewe and Point Abrahamsen on the north coast of South Georgia .
Scientists from the British Discovery Investigations mapped it in 1929. It was named after a now decommissioned lighthouse at nearby Sheep Point .
