Lighthouse Tower is the name of a skyscraper in the city of Dubai that was under construction. In 2009, however, the construction work was interrupted and completely canceled in May 2010.

Construction of the skyscraper began in 2008 and was originally scheduled to be completed by 2011. The tower should reach a height of 402 meters. The Lighthouse Tower would have had 64 floors, which would have offered a usable area of around 140,000 square meters. According to the planning, these should only be used for office purposes. The tower would have been one of the tallest structures in Dubai, but also one of the tallest on earth. Among other things, the tower should have an integrated wind turbine. The entire structure should be built under environmentally friendly aspects. Work on the building was interrupted in late summer 2009 due to financial difficulties. There was no date for the planned resumption of work afterwards. In May 2010, the construction project was completely canceled due to ongoing financial problems. The excavation pit has already been closed.
