Lika Bibileishvili

Lika Bibileishvili (born September 21, 1988 in Batumi , Georgia ) is a Georgian pianist who lives in Germany.

Life

At the age of four she got her first piano lessons. At the age of twelve she played concerts such as Rachmaninoff's 1st piano concerto and, at fourteen, the 2nd piano concerto by Camille Saint-Saëns . During her studies in Georgia, Lika Bibileishvili gave concerts with the Adjara symphonic orchestra.

In 2008 she moved to Munich and continued her studies at the Musikhochschule with Franz Massinger , Volker Banfield and Antti Siirala . Lika Bibileishvilli attended master classes and master classes with Elisso Wirssaladze , Ruvim Ostrovsky, Naum Shtarkman and Dmitri Bashkirov . In 2018 her debut CD was released on the FARAO-Classics label with works by Prokofiev, Bartok, Ravel and Sibelius.
