Lilian Jégou (born January 20, 1976 in Nantes ) is a French cyclist .

Career

Lilian Jégou began his career in 2003 with the cycling team Crédit Agricole , after having been a stagiaire there the previous year . He took part in the Tour de France in his first year as a professional , but couldn't finish it all the way to Paris .

Jégou has been driving for the French ProTour team La Française des Jeux since 2005 . At the beginning of the 2006 season he won a stage of La Tropicale Amissa Bongo in Gabon . His Finnish team-mate Jussi Veikkanen won the overall standings.

At the end of the 2010 season he will end his career as a professional cyclist.
