Lillehammer Triple

The Lillehammer Triple is a ski jumping competition series that is held as part of the women's ski jumping World Cup . It took place for the first time in the 2017/18 season as a World Cup opener. The competitions are held by Lysgårdsbakken in Lillehammer in Norway . The competition series consists of three individual competitions, two of which are initially held on the normal hill and then one on the large hill. In the final competition on the large hill, only the best 30 jumpers of the overall World Cup were allowed to take part in the 2017 premiere . From the second event in 2018, all jumpers were also allowed to start there for the qualification.

Competition mode

The Lillehammer Triple consists of three individual competitions. The scores from the two competitions are included in the overall ranking. The determination of the total number of points is the same as that of the Four Hills Tournament .
