Limonium frederici is a species of the genus of the beach Lilac ( Limonium ) in the family of plumbaginaceae (Plumbaginaceae).

features

Limonium frederici is a perennial subshrub or dwarf shrub that reaches heights of 10 to 16 centimeters. The stem is smooth and forked with thin branches. The foliage leaves measure (16) 18 to 22 (35) millimeters, are inverted heart-shaped and have clearly delineated at the tip.

The ears are loose, 10 to 60 millimeters long and 3 curved downwards. There is a one- to three-flowered spikelet per centimeter . The inner supporting sheet is 5 to 7 millimeters in size. The calyx is 7 millimeters in size and hairy down between its ribs.

The flowering period extends from June to August.

Occurrence

Limonium frederici occurs in the Kardägäis . The species grows on limestone cliffs and rocky slopes on the coast at altitudes of 0 to 60 meters.
