Lin Dunn (born May 10, 1947 ) is a basketball coach in the United States . Since 2008 she has been the head coach of the Indiana Fever in the Women's National Basketball Association (WNBA).

Dunn began her coaching career at Austin Peay State University , where she oversaw the women's basketball team from 1972 to 1977. She then coached other teams at university level, for example, she was the head coach of the basketball team at the University of Mississippi (1977 to 1978), the University of Miami (1978 to 1987) and Purdue University (1987 to 1996). With a total of seven participations in the NCAA Women's Division I Basketball Championship , she made it into the round of the best four teams ( Final Four ) in 1994 .

After she was released from Purdue University after the 1995/96 season, she moved to the Portland Power , a professional women's basketball team in the recently formed American Basketball League (ABL). In the 1998 season she was named the league's best coach. After the league stopped playing in 1998, she was hired by the Seattle Storm in 1999 as the first coach and general manager of the franchise. After only three seasons, she quit her job with the Storm. In 2004 she became an assistant trainer for the Indiana Fever . On October 26, 2007, the Fever announced that the contract of head coach Brian Winters would not be renewed. Just a few weeks later, Dunn was introduced as Winters' successor.
