Lin May
Lin May (born April 30, 1973 in Würzburg ) is a German - Iraqi sculptor . In a monothematic approach, which includes the preoccupation with sculpture , bricolage , drawing and text, Lin May is dedicated to the historical change in the human-animal relationship.
Life
From 1995 to 2001 Lin May studied with Tony Cragg at the Düsseldorf Art Academy . In 2000 she received a scholarship from the German National Academic Foundation and in 2011 the Peter Mertes scholarship from the Bonner Kunstverein .
Lin May lives in Berlin and Düsseldorf.

Lin May is the founder of the Center exhibition space in Berlin, which was set up in 2003.
Teaching
Lin May held a teaching position for sculpture at the Düsseldorf Art Academy from 2008 to 2010.
