The Linck Nunatakkers are a group of four small and icy Nunatakkers in the West Antarctic Ellsworthland . They tower on the southeastern end of the Whitmore Mountains . Three of the nunatakkers are close to each other while the fourth is a little apart at a distance of 4 km.
The US cartographer William Hanell Chapman (1927-2007) mapped this group of mountains on January 2, 1959 during an exploration trip of the United States Geological Survey (USGS) to the Horlick Mountains between 1958 and 1959. He named them after M. Kerwin Linck (1908–1998), head of the USGS department for special maps.
