Linda Cook

Linda Zarda Cook (born June 4, 1958 in the USA ) is a top American manager. Cook is a board member of Royal Dutch Shell and CEO of the Shell Gas & Power subsidiary. In Forbes' Most Influential Women list , Cook is consistently in the top 100.

Career

After studying engineering at the University of Kansas , Cook joined Royal Dutch Shell in the United States in 1980 . After several intermediate stops, u. a. as Director Strategy & Business Development, Cook became CEO of Shell Gas & Power in 2004 . After she was not appointed CEO of the entire group as requested, she left the company after 29 years. Cook also served on Boeing's board of directors . She lives with her husband and 3 children at the company's headquarters in The Hague .
