Linda Krūmiņa

Linda Krūmiņa (at the World Chess Federation FIDE Linda Krumina ; born December 16, 1984 in Kuldīga ) is a Latvian chess player .

Linda Krūmiņa attended the Viļa-Plūdoņa-Gymnasium in Kuldīga and now lives in Riga .

In October 2017 she won the Latvian women's individual championship in Riga ahead of Ilze Bērziņa and thus secured a place in the Latvian women's national team at the 2018 Chess Olympiad in Batumi . The title holder Laura Rogule was unable to attend due to the European Club Cup taking place in Antalya .

She played club chess for the teams The Royal Biograph and SK Kuldīga .

Linda Krūmiņa has held the title of FIDE Women's Champion (WFM) since 2017 . Her highest rating was 2109 in October 2002.
