Linda Steg

Emmelina Meintje "Linda" Steg (born February 21, 1965 in Ravenswoud ) is a Dutch environmental psychologist . She works at the interface between climatology and psychology and is a professor at the University of Groningen .

Act

Steg's research focuses on environmental behavior, in particular the energy consumption of households and the use of cars. She also examines factors influencing the effectiveness and acceptance of environmental policies and technologies.

Steg is one of the authors of the IPCC's special report on global warming of 1.5 degrees (2018).
