The design is different according to the village character. Brick buildings are predominant. The restaurant building Deutscher Hof with a decorative gable and a richly decorated eaves, which was used as a school in the past, stands out. The half-timbered house Lindenplatz 16, built in the early 19th century, is also striking . It has largely been preserved in its original condition and still has windows from the period of construction. It is considered a typical example of a rural building from its construction time.

The village church Flechtingen and the rent office are also grouped around the square . There are still trees, green spaces and a monument on the square. Flechtingen Castle at the address Lindenplatz 7, also belongs to the monument area after the naming of the monument ensemble, is also registered as an individual monument. The former pension office at Lindenplatz 11 and the church are also listed as individual monuments.
