Lindia torulosa is a species of the genus Lindia from the tribe of rotifers (Rotatoria).
description
The animals are 250 to 600 µm long and have a worm-shaped body. Your foot is short, bipartite and equipped with small toes. There is a red eye spot over the brain . There is a wide head flap on the forehead. On both sides of the head there is a thin, long-handled "eyelash ear". Older animals are orange-red to yellowish in color. Lindia torulosa feeds mainly on blue-green algae , the threads of which the animals pinch and devour with their highly specialized chewing apparatus. Your movements are slow.
