Lindsay van Aswegen

Lindsay van Aswegen (born August 29, 1968 ) is a South African ultra marathon runner .

In 2005 she was tenth at the Comrades Marathon and in 2006 eleventh at the Two Oceans Marathon and the Comrades Marathon. In 2009 and 2010 she came eighth in the Comrades Marathon.

At the 100 km road running world championships in 2011, which were held as part of Run Winschoten , she won bronze with the current African record of 7:42:05 h (the time of 7:33:17 set by the South African Helene Joubert in 1995 h was not registered as a record).
