Lines Ridge is a narrow, openwork and approximately 17 km long mountain ridge in the East Antarctic Mac Robertson Land . It rises at the north end of Mawson Escarpment .
Aerial photographs of the Australian National Antarctic Research Expeditions from 1956, 1960 and 1973 were used for their career. The Antarctic Names Committee of Australia named him in 1973 after John Dunstan Lines (1920-1921), deputy director of the Australian Division of National Mapping .
